Writer’s Ink is a writing critique group dedicated to helping our members produce their best fiction, creative non-fiction, and poetry. Though we are based mainly in Fort Bend County, or Southwest Houston, we welcome new members from anywhere in the surrounding area. Members must be able to travel to our meetings and attend on a regular basis. We are now hosting a monthly Meetup. You don't have to be a member of Writer's Ink to attend, just someone who needs a little time away from home or work to write. We'd love to see you there.
We are serious writers seeking publication and ask that all auditioning members be the same. We meet weekly and are looking for members who have enough time to devote to our group. We require that members read, critique, and be ready to comment on others' works, as well as submit writing of their own.
We encourage specific, constructive, polite critiques that ensure our meetings are as friendly as they are productive. Though we are not a social group, many of our members choose to socialize outside of the group, supporting each other as friends and fellow writers.
